A Icom apresentou dois novos portáteis D-Star na feira alemã de radioamadorismo Friedrichshafen Ham Radio Show.
Trata-se de rádios mono banda, o que os torna mais baratos, e portanto
deverá atrair mais radioamadores para esse modalidade digital.
São os modelos ID-31A (VHF) e ID41A (UHF).
Além do modo digital, como todos os outros modelos, funciona normalmente
em analógico.
Nem todas as funções e recursos foram revelados, inclusive o preço e potência,
mas em poucas semanas saberemos, já que o rádio deverá estar à venda para o natal de 2011.

It is mono band radios, which makes them cheaper, and therefore should attract more amateur radio digital mode for this.
These are the models ID- 31A (VHF) and ID41A (UHF).
In the digital mode, like all other models, usually works on analog.
Not all functions and features were revealed, including the price and power, but we'll know in a few weeks, since the radio should be on sale for Christmas 2011.
