Como ja haviamos informado antes a alguns meses atraz, esta acontecendo no Qatar o primeiro encontro de radioamadores daquele pais.

As we have informed before a few months ago, this happening in Qatar's first meeting of that country hams.

Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, presidente da Autoridade de Controle Administrativo e Transparência, salientou que o rádio amador tem um significativo papel na sociedade, durante a abertura do festival internacional de rádio amador no Qatar no Al Rayyan Theatre, em Souq Waqif.

Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority and Accountability, said that amateur radio has a significant role in society, during the opening of the International Festival of Amateur Radio in Qatar at Al Rayyan Theatre in Souq Waqif

Al Attiyah, que também é o presidente do Amador Qatar Rádio Sociedade (QARS), que está hospedando o evento pela primeira vez no Oriente Médio com centenas de pessoas composta por funcionários de várias sociedades de rádio amadores de todo o mundo e estudantes secundários e escoteiros do Qatar.

Al Attiyah, who is also the chairman of the Qatar Amateur Radio Society (QARS), which is hosting the event for the first time in the Middle East with hundreds of people comprising officials of several amateur radio societies worldwide and secondary students and Scouts Qatar.

"Para os países em desenvolvimento o rádio amador pode promover a perícia técnica para ajudar nas comunidades locais", disse ele, acrescentando que o rádio amador como um hobby forneceu a plataforma para a formação em eletrônica, de radiodifusão, teorias e técnicas de telecomunicações no mundo.

 Al Attiyah também ressaltou a importância do rádio amador para pessoas com necessidades especiais, dando-lhes uma boa chance de manter contato com o mundo.

Os "Rádio amadores também responde muito rapidamente em tempos de crise( que nao e o caso do Qatar) e emergências e fornecer suporte para telecomunicações quando os canais normais de comunicação não são funcionais," disse ele. Não é surpreendente, disse ele,que em uma era de tecnologia avançada mais pessoas estão se unindo  ao rádioamadorismo em todo o mundo, com um número crescente de pessoas que procuram licenças.

"For developing countries can promote Amateur Radio technical expertise to help local communities," he said, adding that the amateur radio as a hobby has provided the platform for training in electronics, broadcasting, theories and techniques in telecommunications world.

  Al Attiyah also stressed the importance of amateur radio for people with special needs, giving them a good chance to keep in touch with the world.

The "Radio amateurs also responds very quickly in times of crisis (which is not the case of Qatar) and emergencies and provide support for telecommunications when the normal communication channels are not functional," he said. Not surprisingly, he said that in an era of advanced technology more people are joining the amateur radio worldwide, with an increasing number of people seeking licenses.
