Promulgação da Primeira Constituiçao Brasileira
Com a declaração da Independência do Brasil, Dom Pedro I convocou a
Assembléia-Geral Constituinte e Legislativa, eleita no início de 1823
e dissolvida após sérias divergências com o Imperador.
Em seu lugar, o monarca criou um Conselho de Estado para tratar dos
negócios de maior monta e elaborar o novo projeto da Carta, sobre as
bases apresentadas por Sua Majestade Imperial, que foi submetido às
câmaras municipais.
Promulgation of the First Brazilian Constitution With the Declaration of Independence of Brazil, Dom Pedro I convened the Constituent Assembly and Legislative General, elected in early 1823 and disbanded after serious differences with the Emperor.
Instead, the monarch created a Council of State to handle the business of breeding and producing the largest new project of the Charter, on the grounds presented by His Imperial Majesty, which was submitted to local councils
