NOTA DE FALECIMENTO - PY4AKL

Com profundo pesar comunico o falecimento - ocorrido na data de
hoje na cidade de Contagem-MG - da Radioamadora MARÍLIA de AGUIAR
MAGALHÃES, PY4AKL, esposa do nosso colega Deosmar Magalhães
PY4RT (com quem completou, no último dia 26.12, 60 anos de casamento) e
tia do Fabio Teixeira Magalhães PY4AJ.
Marília também era filha do saudoso Gabriel de Aguiar
(PY1... ?), ex-presidente da Labre nacional entre a década de 1950 e 1960.
Ela era Radioamadora há mais de 60 anos:

Extremamente culta, brilhante pianista e fluente em diversos idiomas,
Marília foi uma das grandes YL brasileiras e era mundialmente conhecida,
tendo permanecido no honor roll do DXCC por muitos anos, e pelo que temos
conhecimento, foi a única Radioamadora PY a participar de uma DXpedição a um
ilha oceânica - Fernando de Noronha - nos anos 60, operando como PY0AKL.

Muito ativa na décadas de 1960, 1970 e até meados de 1980, Marília estava
sempre presente no rádio, onde com seu grande carisma, fez inúmeras
amizades.

Agora que acabou de "apagar os filamentos" nessa vida terrena,
fará QSY para frequências muito mais elevadas...
